The Apple Watch is a great gadget to invest money in, but is it really the best or even the only option for everybody? Here are some of the best reviews in terms of performance, features, comparison, and pricing.
Pebble Watch
pebble_watches   This is a watch that works with both the Android and iOS operating systems. Additionally, it also contains a battery that can last up to a total of seven days, has a 5 ATM waterproof whenever you go swimming, and the screen is always on no matter what. The watch does run applications; however, these applications are more “bare-bones” in nature. Furthermore, the Pebble Watch also contains buttons rather than a touchscreen, which is seen as a major downside. In terms of screen display, it is a more typical black-and-white resolution; however, Pebble Time, an updated version, is coming in May and includes features such as a color screen and microphone. This watch is usually at the top of most people’s lists in terms of what is offered when it comes to budgetary concerns.

Samsung Gear
samsung_gearThis watch contains a vast array of features, including onboard speakers, a heart rate monitor, and a microphone that works well during speakerphone calls with other individuals. Additionally, the Samsung Gear also possesses onboard music storage and playback. Perhaps the biggest downside, however, is the fact that the software isn’t very intuitive and the app library doesn’t contain many popular brands. Additionally, in order to use this watch to make calls, you will first need to have a Samsung-brand phone.

Android Wear
android_wear   This Google product has been in existence for approximately a year and it already has many different watches and compatible applications that work alongside it. The Android Wear contains qualities such as traditional square displays and color touchscreens, and it can also run on any Android device that operates on Android 4.3 or higher; however, there is also a rumor that the device may also soon be compatible with the iOS operating system. One great feature involving this device is that many of applications can be cross-loaded onto it from Google Play. Typically, battery life for this watch tends to last approximately two to three days. Depending on the model you want, this watch can either be affordable or expensive.
Fitbit Surge
fitbit-surgeThese watches are more fitness-specific and work to track aspects such as your heart rate and running statistics. Additionally, it can also receive phone calls and notifications as well. Basic battery life tends to last approximately one week, and this product is also typically fairly affordable. One downside to the Fitbit Surge is that it is unable to be worn while swimming.

Huawei Watch

All in all, the world of smart watches is set to become fairly similar to how the world of smartphones was about eight to nine years prior. In fact, this world may not be very recognizable to what we are used to seeing today.
