How are you going to enjoy the BIG game this Sunday?

If you’re like me you’re probably be thinking to bad your work or location didn’t allow you to go to see the Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara and have the best experience ever. You’re not alone. You’re part of the 118 million fans that would’ve loved to be there, but they only can enjoy it in a flat screen – and most of them probably at home.
If you own a big flat screen TV these are the best ideas to watch it like you’re seating in the first seats!

Feel Like You’re There!
Main events are always presented in a press box view more than regular TV shows and this one is not the exception. These shows are intended to be viewed in a wide big screen to have a similar experience as being in live event.
If you own a small screen TV you can always have the same experience by seating a little closer to the screen then you’re used to even more if your TV has HD and/or 4K resolution feature. Doing some little changes and moves around doesn’t hurt, especially for an event like this.

Enjoy With The 1080i HDMI Passes
Make sure all the wires and cables are connected correctly. If your set box or receiver is HD capable it has to be connected to your TV with an HDMI cable.
The Super Bowl 50 will be presented by CBS network in totally High def. with resolution of 1080i; make sure your receiver box is set to output 1080i resolution as well not less then that.
Set your box to tune to the HD version of the network as well. Most of TV providers offer the HD and SD (Standard Definition) to suit any compatible TV their customers have. As we all know HD is much better.
If you don’t know how to set this up call your provider for assistance in advance and ask them to walk you through the process.

Hear The Crowd!
To have the same experience as watching the game at the stadium you also need to set your TV audio or speakers in your best preferences.
Setting your box to output stereo instead to 5.1 surround sound (Dolby Digital when you’re using your TV speakers will be the best choice.
Playing around with the sound controls of your TV. Your Smart TV has a multilane equalizer that lets you contract some frequencies separately from others – preventing the sounds you don’t want to hear.
If you’re using and external Audio System will offer a much better dialogue and the crowdie noises.
If your System doesn’t offer the equalizer feature, try experimenting with a sound mode or even the basic bass and treble controls.
In your Surround system, if you prefer the announcer’s dialogue over the crowd noise you can turn down the left speaker (Right and Surround) and turn up the center.
On the contrary turn down the center channel to minimize the dialogue and listen to the crowdie noise.
Enhance The Bright Spiral
To get bright color and crispy clear image experience you need to personalize the calibrations and colors in your TV. Increase the backlight control. It will enhance the power of the brightness on the back of LCD screen for LED Tvs.
For plasma or OLED Tvs you can increase the contrast or cell light or the OLED light instead.
You can also turn off any lighting detector for the room, automatic brightness control and may be the energy saver feature.
The best tip to get the precise green color for the field is to engage the Cinema/Movie preset (THX) if your TV this feature.
Movie usually provides a more precise color green than Sports or other picture modes. offering an oversaturated-looking, with greens that are much more brighter than in real life.
Unfortunately on some TVs cinema/movie mode will look darker even after turning up the backlight/contrast all the way up
In this case you can pick a brighter picture mode and find the control “Color Space” or any other similar control. Here you can choose the HD or Auto or Rec709 setting instead of the native setting. You can decrease the color control to get the more natural grass color.

Go For That Extra Point!
With these great ideas you don’t need to travel all the way to Santa Clara and spend the extra cash. Lastly, to get things excited you can decorate you living room with the color of the team you rooting for and invite your families and friends and enjoy the game like you are in the Stadium!
